What do you think about Acura TL 2012?
My 2012 crv was awful. Bought it brand new and died within 6 months. In the 5 years I had it, I had to replace battery every 6 months. Ac went out; seat belt broke, just a mess. I loved that car, but the battery issue kept me from keeping it longer.
Scotty, you said over and over NOT to buy the turbo crv. You said they wouldn't last and stay away from them. I worked for Honda for 17 years and I knew If Honda had a problem they would stand behind them. Turns out no problems. They did have a software update. Funny how now you say they are great cars. Are you eating a little crow this morning ?
I thought the most hated Honda was the 1st generation Honda Passport (and Acura SLX). They were rebadged Isuzus.

Honestly..,, with the automobile industry being around for over 100 years, and technology full throttle forward…. It amazes me that there are more recalls then ever. For the $$ we have to pay for a car, new or used…. These cars should be running like a dream… and they don’t!! There isn’t 1 company that can produce a decent vehicle… stupid sensors that can keep a car from passing inspection…. Vehicular recalls… it’s embarrassing…. Find a car and drive it into the ground…. Screw getting a new car every few years.
I already had to help someone on the road when the parking break sensor broke and the shifter sensor broke which kept the car from going in reverse……. Wasn't fun at all. Bug definitely it's a defect it has.
I don't rely on any electronic oil monitor to determine when the oil needs changing – I rely on the ODOMETER. 5000 mile oil change intervals. What a concept…

Honda batteries are very good compared to aftermarket. Don't ask me why. They usually last a long time.
