2002 sienna thermostat isn't close to there lol

bondito88 says:

How often is it recommended to replace the thermostat?

mike smith says:

you forgot to test the new thermostat for compliancy.    Place it in hot water and wait to see if it opens up.   Simple and easy.   You don't want to go through the whole shebang again with a defective thermostat.

Sandeep P says:

So I just had a dealer change water pump and had also mentioned that thermostat be changed. They did not change the thermostat and when I asked why they just said they cleaned/changed the seal. Not sure what to think. When do thermostats go bad?

Yeah try that on the V6…..

Is this on the 2.4 liter engine

Whisper Garcia says:

Good video. But you guys need to put more information on the car your working on. Like is it a v6 4 cylinder? You guys need to improve on that!

DIY subscribers make sure you install your thermostat with the AIR BLEED on the top position, very important, this video shows otherwise.

David Alvarez says:

Excellent job

Jonny DIY says:

Thanks for sharing, but woops look like you put the bubbler valve on bottom. Thermostat should be placed with that positioned at top to allow air bubbles to dissipate
