Would this work the same way for a 1996 4runner? I need to replace the passenger side mirror its cracked.

Raymond Torres says:

kontraband20 says:

Omg, I just had my 2010 Camry fixed. He glued a new glass over the old broken one then taped it with duck tape. It's 100 degrees out, if that tape takes my paint off, I'm gonna be pissed.

MYSTYLERECORDS says:

Does anybody know if removing the hooks is the same way in a Camry 2012-16? Mines just the top of the glass popped out.

David Aronson says:

Why do you have to take the mirror off at all? Can you just take out the old glass, put on the double-sided tape, and put on the new glass?

subsonicdeathmonkey says:

Very helpful video. Would prefer to use you but shipping to Australia is a little high at the moment.

Dan Lo Fat says:

What about the heated type?

0 to 250 says:

Would using another type of adhesive, like gorilla glue as well as the double sided tape be better?
