We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows that particular
repair. we’ll keep this request in mind in the event that we need to make
this repair in the future. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

The panel should line up exactly as it did when you took it off. If you
take a look at the speaker grill you may be able to snap it back on if it
has a couple of tabs sticking out of it.

lwguy says:

can you order new clips? also replacing external door handle, how can you
reach the bolt on the far side. There is door frame covering it and prevent
a ratchet getting close.

1A Auto Parts says:

This video will show you how to replace it on your car. We also carry a
replacement switch for you Toyota Corolla on our website 1aauto.com

1A Auto Parts says:

@mrrudedaddy Is sounds like it could be broke. You might be able to pop it
back out.

Josue Manriquez says:

Thank you! I fixed my door today! Very easy to do after watching this
video. 🙂

1A Auto Parts says:

@hbboy561 Awesome! Thank you for visiting our auto repair channel. Enjoy
your new speakers.

Richard says:

Don’t forget to mention that after you break fasteners/clips you spend the
next month trolling junkyards collecting clips so you can put your interior
back together.

1A Auto Parts says:

@twinoak170 You could try to start from the side of the door panel, and
once it’s loose, work your way around the bottom of the door with your hand
to remove the pins. Hope this helps out.1aauto.com

1A Auto Parts says:

@DanzilF HI, we only ship in the USA.

Great video – Thanks! Do you have a video that shows replacing the power
door lock actuator for the 2007 Toyota Corolla? Thank you!

BaldyTwins1 says:

I need to replace the master switch assembly unit on the drivers side. How
do you disconnect the wire harness without breaking it?

twinoak170 says:

@1aauto What do you do if the door does not open because it will not unlock?

1A Auto Parts says:

@tehgh0st If actuator sounds like it’s trying to pop, then it may be that
the actuator has gone bad. If you hit the button and the actuator does
nothing you may want to test the wire to see if it has power going to it.

gene vanzyl says:

How do I fix a small gap after I put the panel back on , does the speaker
part just snap on or do I have to glue it ?

GamingHolic says:

Heyy Thank you so much…

JCFraser1027 says:

@rick9565 First off I’m going to guess that you are in the auto repair
business. Secondly, if you do break some clips, which does happen even to
professional mechanics, why would you not go to your local Toyota dealer
parts dept or auto parts store. In my area, we have junkyards that have all
the parts sorted and ready. All it takse is a phone call. They have most
every thing that you need.

tehgh0st says:

Great video on how to take apart the door panel. I did this with my car in
hopes of repairing my passenger side power lock. The key fob, and the
actual power lock button in the car will not unlock the passenger side
door. It sounds like it’s the actuator but I’m hesitant to take it apart
any further for fear of causing more harm than good. Any suggestions or
videos you can point me to that may help? Thanks in advance!

1A Auto Parts says:

@lovetotinker08 Thank you for checking out our auto repair videos on
YouTube. have a great day!

1A Auto Parts says:

@hbboy561 We’ll keep this in mind if we need to do this repair on one of
these vehicles. If you remove all of the screws holding the door panel to
the door, you should be able to remove the door panel with a door panel
removal tool or a putty knife. Hope this helps you out.

1A Auto Parts says:

If it’s the plastic trim piece over the mirror bolts that has broke, you
may need to find a new one for it.

Mark Smith says:

thanks a ton, straight forward and easy to follow instructions 😀

1A Auto Parts says:

@Microbio888 We currently do not have an auto repair video on that
particular vehicle. However you would need to remove any bezels or trim
that may be bolted into the door frame, and then you should be able to
remove any of the push pins on the backside of the door panel with a putty
knife or door panel removal tool. Hope this helps.

Do you have any of these covers in stock? I looked on your webpage and
didn’t see anything.

lwguy says:

do the clips snap back in place?

1A Auto Parts says:

We do not carry these door panels. You may want to check your local salvage
yard to see if you can find one that matches your vehicle.

what could be the issue? i can only lock/unlock with the remote. is there
an issue with the lock. or a setting that needs changing.

Daniel Fenech says:

Thanks for this video, really interesting. I have a 2002 Corolla (NZE120)
which is exactly like this one. Was going to try it out cause one of the
electric window is making noises when it’s at the top part (shakes with
bumps when on the top, even when closed). Mike, can you suggest anything re
this problem? Driver’s side is also like not going down in a straight
manner, so it gets almost stuck and continues on its way down.

PJRehlaender says:

link doesnt work

1A Auto Parts says:

@twinoak170 You would need to remove the door panel, and manually unlock
the door from the inside so that you can fix it.

Sandy says:

from your door. youtube.com/user/1aauto?feature=mhee#p/search/0/dnmPVf4KNcw

1A Auto Parts says:

@DanzilF You may want to take the door panel off to see if there are any
guides on the window that can be adjusted.

lovetotinker08 says:

thanks I’m a 57yrs old lady and I hit my passenger mirror from the back not
looking where I was going. When I found out I had to remove the panel I
panicked another $200 bill for Toyota just spent 450 on new tires for 2005
corolla. I watched the video and said I can do this. Video was great step
by step putty knife worked great on panel was afraid I would break clips
didn’t took a little time to put back panel but I did it. Had crank door
handle removed with dishcloth great so proud of myself

BlackHayateSama says:

Thanks for this video. I think i’m going to go ahead and purchase a side
mirror from yall and fix it myself. Also, any tips on how to fix the window
gasket? When I broke the side mirror it messed the plastic lining for the
window too.

Daniel Fenech says:

@1aauto Thanks, will try that 🙂 Too bad you’re not available in Malta! Do
you ship parts to Malta anyway?

marek0086 says:

how do u take off the window winder (for non-electric windows)??

hbboy561 says:

any chance you can do a video for a 2010 toyota corolla LE? :/ i can’t
remove mine.

1A Auto Parts says:

@sandeep1026 You may want to double check to see if the door lock
connections were connected the right way.
