Where was the wire connector? Could you adjust it like it was before?
Usually the VIN# will start with a J if it’s a Japanese built model. You
could also have the dealer run the VIN# for you if you are unsure.

If you’re trying to paint the mirror to match your car. Tape up the mirror
glass so that you don’t get any paint on it. Also if you go to your local
auto body supply store they should have paint to match your car available
in a spray bomb.

You may have to get the door panel back a bit to access that last screw.
I have a 2005 Solara, but can’t reach the lower left screw. I guess I have
to take the door panel off?

This video is for any of the mirrors that fit the Camry from 2002-2006
You may be able to apply some of the basic procedures and steps to the

Works the same for 2007 model…just did it in 12F weather…DONE…well,
almost, paint it when it gets warmer… What a pain to drive a car w/o a
driver side mirror all thanks to a Monarch School Bus. Thanks for
