Thank you for your time and knowledge in this video here. Now I feel that I
can do it, though my challenge is with a 99 corolla. Shouldn’t be much
different…

Chuck Que says:

I’m having the same problem as @stimpy I guess I need to see how the white
U clip on the door handle marries up to what ever it works with…video is
helpful but that’s the headache for me so far

AnOptimist4U says:

Thanks for this video! After viewing it a few times, I was able to replace
all four outside doors handles! I will say that it took me longer than
expected, but without these videos, it would have taken longer! The main
issue that made for a longer time was I had no magnetic tools for the
couple of bolts I dropped and spent time digging them out. Otherwise, I am
so glad I finished that job because I was down to one unbroken door handle!
Thanks again and keep the videos coming!

Thanks! This video really helped me with my 1999 Chevy Prizm (Toyota
Corolla). Your front door video was great for everything else. The rear
doors were a beast, but this video really gave me the hint I needed to get
the job done! Thanks so much!

VelardeBryan says:

I did everything you taught in this video and it worked out great for me!
Thank You Mr. Mike ! 😀

Floyd R. Turbo says:

The secret 10mm bolt of the 2 bolt on outside door handle was the problem I
was having. I’ve would of ended up breaking the little rod clip first.
Thanks!

so the rear doors all easier then the front doors ?

1A Auto Parts says:

It should be a fairly similar process. If you follow our video, it’s not
that bad of a repair. We carry brand new window regulators on our website
1aauto.com 888-844-3393 Hope this helps you out. Have a great day!

stimpy1304 says:

1A Auto Parts says:

@stimpy1304 Did you try to slide the rods up and into the U part?

chickyhawk1 says:

Greg Meister says:

This link goes to video for inside front door handle replacement. Is there
anything for the rear outside door handle for the ’98 Camry? It’s not the
same as the 92-96 body style.

AnyiRhema says:

wow, this is great, saved some 40euros for me…thanks alot

stimpy1304 says:

how do you get the u shaped clip on the handle to fit onto the arm that
opens the door, its not showen surely its more than just put it in and hope
it works

tedmich says:

so much less access than front handle, thanks for explaining dropping the
latch mechanism, which the front doesn’t require!

Jordan Garcia says:

Will you ever have a video on a 1996 Toyota corolla rear outside door
handle replacement? I’m really stumped and can’t find a way to fix it.

1A Auto Parts says:

@chickyhawk1 You’re welcome. Thank you for taking the time to watch our
auto repair videos.Have a great day!

1A Auto Parts says:

We’ll keep this request in mind in the event that we need to make this
repair in the future.

1A Auto Parts says:

@stimpy1304 The clip just goes over the latch actuating rod and that is it!

Techness50 says:

Thanks for the video. I have a 1998 and am wondering if the process more or
less the same for that model?

stimpy1304 says:

@1aauto i’m not sure how to do that as there is such limited space

Joel Embry says:

Is the front essentially the same? I was told it’s a bear to replace.
