hi, what is the best aircondition compressor replacement for toyota camry
94 w/ V6 engine? please give some idea. Thank you very much.

agodzadza95 says:

i hav a 2002 passat and it shakes when i turn the AC on…would this help
fix it?

1A Auto Parts says:

If you follow this procedure in the video you will be okay.

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to take a look at the compressor while the car is on and the
AC is running. To see if there’s a possibly broken bolt on the compressor
or check to see if the pulley on the AC is spinning correctly.

timbo pea says:

thanks kindly, my friend. it took me quite a while to find a suitable video.

1A Auto Parts says:

It may be a different procedure.

Thanks for making the job easy.

Minh Sy says:

is it similar to change the serpentine belt?? thanks

1A Auto Parts says:

You would need to release the tension on the serpentine belt and then
follow the routing diagram on the sticker near the radiator. Hope this
helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

We do have some Camry videos if you search our channel. You should be able
to loosen the belt tensioner, and route the new belt as shown on your
engine compartment sticker.

Helicopter Pilot says:

Cheers for the help. Greatly appreciate you imparting your knowledge. It is
really cool of you to do so and a hell of a help for me. I am going to try
to replace my A/c compressor myself. Wish me luck…

didierlebrune says:

why unpluging the battery is it to avoid electric chocks

1A Auto Parts says:

@didierlebrune Just a good idea whenever you are working on electrical or
engine parts.

Thank you VERY much!! I’m an active duty Marine living in Okinawa, Japan
and this video helped me with my 1994 Toyota Curren. (Yeah, yeah I know.
They don’t have those in the states.) But this helped me change my belt and
definitely got me over the whole “lost in translation thing” that happens a
lot here. Thank you again!!!!!

mrjulian15 says:

Awesome! thanks 1A auto, you saved me. I have a 2005 camry 3.3 v6 and the
process was exactly the same.

1A Auto Parts says:

on the 2008 corolla they went from having two belts to having just one. The
concept is the same but the positioning of the tensioner and routing for
everything is different.

shippy1225 says:

I was actually looking for a video for a Sienna but I did mine last night
and it was pretty much the same as what you showed in this Camry video. The
video was very helpful and saved me a trip to the mechanic and a few
dollars. Thanks!

shippy1225 says:

Do you know if replacing the same belt on a 2006 Toyota Sienna is the same
as the camry? If not do you have a video for that? Thank you.

Keirnoth says:

Thank you – this helped me replace the Compressor Drive Belt on my 92 Camry
4 cyl. It was pretty much in the same place as what was shown in this video.

jcm8002204 says:

The Alternator has a 14mm on the TOP and a 12mm for the Bottom and also
12mm for the Tensioning Bolt. We were replacing the belt on a ’96 ES300 …
Real Easy.

Worked great on 2000 Avalon
