Hello scotty what is your opinion on a 2001 lexus is300 in line six 2jz engine its got 185000 miles and I've had it for the last 5 years with no issues the other day i was pitting gas and it wouldn't turn on finally after several trays it finally did should i just get rid of it now since its a 20 year old car or keep it thanks in advance ..

Scions are good mechanically but they cheap out on other parts. They have crappy ac compressors as well as other “cheaper” parts. Just stick with Toyota. Trust me, I speak from experience
I always wanted one of these cars. I KNEW this was a good vehicle i should have bought! unlike the damn silverado i bought instead! God damn what a mistake i made. Ugh.. i will never buy a silverado again. Total money pit. The more i fixed or upgraded the more that truck didnt like it. I couldnt believe it. Chevy equals JUNK. Its so true and it really sucks cuz chevys look the best.
Small cars don't sell very well in the U.S. anymore because everyone wants SUVs, so many manufactures have discontinued making them. Even the Japanese are not immune. Take the Toyota Yaris (formally Scion iA), which is really a Mazda 2. Toyota didn't advertise the Yaris very much and so it didn't sell well and has been cancelled this year. Likewise Honda cancelled the Fit which is sad that the new one in Japan is not coming to the USA
