How much time does this last?

Thomas Emerson says:

Thank you for these videos… I'm a complete rookie (I didn't even know clear coat or ceramic coatings or any of that even existed until August of this year). I'm now inspired to restore my dad's (he passed 14 years ago) old '88 F250 next summer and this is the kind of info I'm going to need, so I'm very thankful.
I have a question… I've read in many places that the One K (or whatever) clear coat by KBS is as good as the 2K versions like the one in this video. I would like your thoughts on that if you don't mind.

Satyajit Sharma says:

Watch while you spray and slow down a bit. You might get a better finish.

I bought a 95 Camry 300Sei..
Looked almost worse than this one.
Had it resprayed a beautiful maroon color.. Only paid about $250 for almost full respray.

I never put a thumbs down on a vid but you sir are very wrong on the lay of original paint to cars as I have painted many over the years being a UAW worker and know how they are really made. You can make a car shine but be careful of the knowledge you spread please

James Frantz says:

Why bother with just clear coat the whole car looks like junkyard material. I guess just for demonstrating purposes.

Brent Summers says:

Very well explained. But how worthwhile is it to spend time and money fixing clear coat on an old car? The hood is often bad, the roof the same, and maybe the trunk as well. And some of the side panels. After a lot of effort it will still look kind of depressing.

crack noir says:

And the word of the day Is CLEAR COAT CLEAR COAT CLEAR COAT

Chris Maggio says:

I will now take your lesson to my Santa Fe mirrors! they are peeling clear coat and it bugs me! Thx!!

Raymond Pontremoli says:

Ok so what was I supposed to learn here….How to clear coat a contaminated, dirty panel…??? There's more dirt in that clear coat than my planter box…

LEO Wilson says:

the real reason is, you are not gonna take it to a junk yard if you spray all over the bonnet.
