Land Cruisers are used for Outreach Programs, Ranches, Farms etc. due to its reliability, durability and resilience.
They still made the older generation as a Van(Side-Facing rear seats), Pickup, SUV and Chassis Cabs with Diesel Engines.
The Current Generation Land Cruiser has a base model with stripped-down interior and black grills in some countries also with the Diesel Engine.
Only the US model is discontinued because it is expensive but if Toyota bring the stripped-down/base version or lower trims for Fleets and the Older Generation for Off-road enthusiast and fleets requiring off-road vehicles then Toyota surely bring a Slice of Pie in the market.
Also the New Generation Hiace is out there for 2 years in other countries also available with 3.5l V6 similar to Tacoma and it is available in Passenger Van and Cargo Van so why not bring there surely they will become a hit and outsell Transits, Sprinters, Promaster and Express Vans and expand the lineup someday(Hybrid, Electric and Larger Vans) and also a Chassis Cab Version of Toyota to have a choice for fleets for smaller commercial vehicles.

I'm still driving my 93 Honda Prelude SR that I bought new. Still has original shocks windshield and brake pads with 270000 kms on it. Inspected 3 years ago when I moved to BC Canada and passed with no issues. Japanese cars are the best.

I personally disagree; the world is changing a lot a and I don't think people are keen to keep their same cars for next 20 30 years while the technology is changing rapidly and who knows, maybe in next 20 years all gas stations will be replaced with charging stations!
I worked with guy with a Sienna. The rear end went and cost $2900. Another guy I knew, his Prius shifter went. $700 A friend of my Mother, paid almost a $1000 for brakes on her 4-runner. There not all bullet proof.

Toyota is not ending LandCruiser production at all. They might not sell them in USA for a while anymore. They are launching the brand new 300 series in a few months time. In South Africa & Australia Land Cruisers still rule and they outsell the fancy European luxury SUV's all together on a month to month basis.

Australia is due to start sales of the Landcruiser 300.
