NutzAboutBolts says:

lol sure! but we live in california.

TheLittleJohnny says:

Its gonna be a couple of weeks before I post need to pull the rotors and turn them (friggin junk). Brand new rotors, one is not right. I will let you know when vid is up.

If you want just come over and pull the rotors and see for yourself its a pain…hahaha….

NutzAboutBolts says:

I would like to check it out, maybe I can help.

TheLittleJohnny says:

I can sure try.
In my opinion the ’95 is kind of a pain in the ass when compared to the one your are working on. I wish it was that easy.

NutzAboutBolts says:

would you like to post a video of how it looks like? thanks.

TheLittleJohnny says:

Great video but this does not apply to a 1995 taco. Totally different….not even close…

NutzAboutBolts says:

thank you!

Adam Grimenstein says:

very good auto repair video, the best i’ve seen.

cmill02s says:

Same process worked on my 4runner. Unless you open the bleeder valve or otherwise introduce air into the brake system.. you shouldn’t have to bleed the breaks.

NutzAboutBolts says:

lol thanks! :)

fooscircle says:

Great vid man. crystal clear video and perfect placement of the camcorder.

NutzAboutBolts says:

were you talking about the anti rattle spring? It was facing the wrong direction in the beginning and its in the proper direction where the hump is on the bottom and not on top.

HaloArchive says:

FYI: You reinstalled your retainer the wrong direction which will cause your pads to slide out under hard braking which increases your stopping distance due to less friction.

Anytime! Thanks for leaving a comment 🙂

Masdawjs says:

Great video! Real easy to follow and listen to your instructions. Thanks again!

NutzAboutBolts says:

Lol, no problem! :)

Gary Lashlee says:

Awesome video man! Clear instructions in high def too? What-what? Thanks much!

NutzAboutBolts says:

You don’t have to bleed the brakes when changing the rotors and pads. You want to bleed the brakes only if it looks dirty. As for the procedure in this video, its the same as the 4runner.

rumwomenandguns says:

Nice video, I just wanted ask you if you had to bleed the brakes after and will this work on a 1996 4runner?? Thanks

NutzAboutBolts says:

Hahah. Thanks

James Duffy says:

cmill02s says:

Deff. looking forward to that!

NutzAboutBolts says:

No problem! 😀 it has the same engine as well. We’ll be doing a timing belt replacement in the future as well. We’re still waiting on the customer to give us the go on it 🙂 so stay tune!

cmill02s says:

Excellent video! Changing the brakes on my 4runner tomorrow and it’s an identical process. This has been the most thorough video I’ve found on YouTube. Many thanks!
