Suzuki Samurai, Replace top Garnish & Seal Soft Top.
I your Suzuki Samurai (SJ310, SJ413, Jimny 1300) leaks water at the top of the windshield in heavy rain, the garnish molding on the top of the windshield is the likely source of the water leak. You are better off getting a new garnish windshield seal or molding from Suzuki, rather than getting a used part. The new garnish windshield seal or molding comes with a new adhesive foam gasket, to keep out all the rain and also new screws. Before you install the new garnish windshield seal or molding you want to remove all traces of the old windshield seal or and adhesive that was left. In this case, I used some Rust converting primer to stop and source of rust that may start at the location of the screw holes. After I installed the new garnish windshield seal or molding, I sprayed some rubberized undercoating across the front of the molding to make sure no rust starts right at the edge.
