Brief steps of the procedure:

Remove caliper(s) retaining bolts
Pry open the caliper(s)
Remove old brake pads
Install new brake pads
Re-install caliper on brake disc
Re-install retaining bolts

Next time use a brake grease on your slider pins. Brake grease is a high temp grease that won't melt. Clean your slider pins thoroughly and use just a very thin coat on them. Floating brakes require it. That's what keeps them floating.
