MAYHEM STREET RIDERS EPT says:

How did you measure them just curious

chaotic/Silence says:

2:30 possibly a shorter bolt? also I use tinfoil under my control clamps, just spray some adhesive glue on one side and use the tinfoil like tape, it doesn't degrade and actually grips very well. I did this same project to my 05 cbr600RR. Excellent video and thank you for sharing a step by step video it's going to help allot of people out, I wish I would of made a video on mine for others to learn.

usfootman says:

Top clamp is actually weak and flimsy, are you sure this mode is safe enough? I was thinking to do same thing to my bike but those safety concerns stopped me.

85artz31 says:

About to do the same but on my mill

MrTonifumi says:

Jank as fuck!

Rj Vasquez says:

I’m about to do that same to my cbr. Is cutting the front fairing necessary or can you get by with out doing so?

Wayne Shephard says:

Great idea and good of you to share it but I was cringing looking at the process and damage done, best technique is to take some more time measuring and remove the triple clamp so you can drill it in a press and get it perfect, sound idea though, I doubt it will weaken the triple clamp too much.

Jay Valenz says:

Good video..it’s the start of winter & working on the ZX. Your video pointed out 3 things I would of screwed up on. I did cut the bolt to be able to lock the bike, I re-routed my wires through the frame, I also used the same type of drill bit..after breaking a normal drill bit. Thank you..well done & im sure you saved issues for many that watched this video. I’m subscribing & a like..Thanks bro!

Aurelio Minero says:

That was such a big job! Well done and thanks for sharing it!!

Anthony Jones says:

that looks fucking stupid lol

gsxrkz says:

There's a kit you can buy with a proper top yoke.

M V says:

Sweet Meat what is the size of the drilling whole thing

Jose Romero says:

I want to do the same to my cbr, have you have any issues?

Omar Edwards says:

How are the cheap brakelines performing?

Pacific777 says:

A heavy towel covering everything around what your working on is a paint saver

motopsycho will says:

Thanks for your video of the NAO lights, but…I'm trying to figure out why would you do this to a gix? I know it's probably more comfy, but I could never….

Freddy Granados says:

Damn ..MacGyver 101 , kinda defeats the whole purpose of what the bike was designed for. Should of gone with Suzuki’s naked bike if your looking for Confort. Their cheaper too

Integra DIY says:

Good effort and video quality, but you should have took the top part of the triple tree clamp off and have a machine shop do the drilling and to get the alignment right.. the way the right hole is notched and the amount of hardware store washers used is crazy lol

That bike is supposed to be ridden at high speeds in the canyons.. and your life is trusted by those small washers and that oval hole.. I would honestly replace the triple tree clamp and do it right the first time especially something that takes a large about of force and your life depends on it. Ride Safe
