How to EASILY Install 94 Suzuki Katana Carbs

“The Ratchet Strap Method”…by me. A great trick to install the Carburetors on a 1994 Suzuki Katana 750 (Should work on most Katanas).

I tried pushing on the carbs for a while… didn’t work. This made it much easier. Hope it helps you, too.

Did you ever get the bike running?

I just purchased a slingshot 750 . The guy i bought it from said it had been sat for 6 years and if i needed to clean the carbs its easier to fit an inner tube in the back of the airbox and pump it slowly to pop the carbs out and same again to help coach the boots back on .

Nice mustang!

Bill Smart says:

Hilarious and ridiculous!!!! It's the 2 center boots that give me problems, because the airbox has warped a bit over time. Now I take the air filter out and push the center boots on the carbs from inside the airbox, easy to push the boot lip over the carb too. Then tighten the clamps. A little more disassembly, but only 4 screws.

Little bit of Vaseline on the boots works great. Popped on with no issues and none of the extra work you did.

Anyway you can do a video on what all hoses come off the carbs? I got a 96 and I'm pretty sure it's missing some hoses
