http://www.boostaholics.com – Part two! Watch as I DIY install and review “Stage One” on my 2016 Subaru WRX STi! This is the Cobb SF air intake system with airbox, and a Cobb Accessport V3 using stg 1 93 octane ots map from cobb. Then after the install, we go for a swift 75 MPH pull through town raising hell and causing ruckus! Join Michael Berenis of Boostaholics as he swears and cusses his way through the installation and then proceeds to drive recklessly to prove his upgrades were worth the effort.

How does the car talk?
Does that metric reader work on 2006/2007 STIs?
Haha I love it.
Can you please tell me all the tools you need to do this full installation. Thanks
When I'm at work, I binge on old videos. I miss all the dirty shit you used to put in your videos. I have a 12 year old's mind so I still think farts are funny and I make sure anyone around me knows that some random object looks like cock and balls and shit like that. Anways. I also sponsored Michael! Don't you go spend that whole $5/month in one place!
More boost than tire pressure!!!
I seen most of your Sti video’s And I just brought a 2015 WRX STI with 38K miles and the wort before me installed COBB BOX intake but I don’t got the COBB V3 and do I need it? Or can I just drive my car with e CoBB box intake and not have a COBB V3 PORT?
Stage 1 is literally only 5hp and 10tq…..$600 what a fucking waste
also around how much extra hp do you get from the stage 1 tune from cobb
hey michael I'm looking into getting one myself and wondering how you like the sti as an everyday
Yo Michael, I finally bit the bullet and bought a 2018 WRX!! I can't wait til 2020, I'm very impatient sometimes. Anyhow, I'm looking into a stage 1 and this should hold me over til I want to trade in for the newly redesigned STI. Just want your input as to how your car has been since adding the AP. I'm reluctant to do this on a car that I just had for less than a week. Have you had to go back to the dealer for warranty service considering that installing this voids warranty? What do you do when you have to take the car in to the dealership?
Are you using sport mode or sport mode sharp?
So I purchased an APv3 and the Cobb intake +SF kit but then was recommended a pro tune over the OTS and also recommended upgrading the fuel pump and injectors… I'm not looking for huge power gains or anything so is the pump and injectors really needed? Only other mod I have is the NVIDIA N1 cbe.
If you use that 93 octane ots map on your Cobb access port but actually putting 91 octane, would that effect anything?
Funny looking fucker
I mean subaru still can't figure out how to design a headgasket so I don't think they're the best engineers in the world
I just stage 1 tuned my 2011 Sti. would I still be able to pass smog with the cobb cold air intake and Nvidia exhaust?
For a 2017 STI, can I use an OTS cobb map with SF intake, SS heat shield and Cobb turboback exhaust? Stage 1 package has intake and heat shield but no exhaust. Stage 2 has heat shield and exhaust, but no intake? Do I have to upgrade fuel lines if I want intake, heat shield and turbo back exhaust together? What am I missing here? Thanks man, and awesome vids!
The giggles, haha. How did you get that audible feedback on your shifting?
STi 'Stage 1 complete' Air Intake, Exhaust and Cobb Tune only enhances the sounds no real HP increase???
Just bought an STI and put a K&N cold air intake on it. In wondering if the Cobb stage 1 will work with it? Did you get a pro tune afterwards or just plug and play?
