My last Subaru parking brake video has received plenty of views and likes. From all of the great comments it made sense to do an even better, more thoroughly updated video. It’s taken me quite a while to film and edit this one. I hope it helps whoever has gotten themselves into a jamb.
My Impreza RS was in desperate need of attention to the brakes. Replacing everything including the parking brake shoes and hardware was the way to go with this amount of mileage. Knowing that everything is new and the much improved brake feel, my confidence level is way up. I’m guessing the brakes on the 240SX will still stop that car faster, but this upgrade on the Impreza is nonetheless a night and day difference.

U see that two Holes on ur breakdisk ( infront) u can screw two screw's in there to help u pull it off.
The "special" tool at 18:13… is that a tool designed for that purpose? Or just something with the right shape/size to push/turn that fastener 90 degrees?
Always useful to have another 'how to' video for a practical maintenance task on a car.
