Thank you so very much! This is very empowering to learn how to fix my car. They wanted $150 at the shop to do this.

tkc maine says:

Gotta love them harbor freight stubbies, got about 10 packs of them.

Hardway Learning says:

I'm guessing the PWR bulb is for the models with VVT? They may have a PWR switch to dump more fuel or what not.

ClearSmashDrop says:

+50 for the 5th Element Reference: Aziz Light! I've got my cluster pulled out of the car and checked which bulbs are bad. Now its off to see if I can find them online or at a store. This really helped.

Dave Joseph says:

Okay, but I find three different sizes of bulbs in my 2000 Impreza cluster. I ordered some 74 bulbs from Rock Auto but I don't know what else I've got.

Kristaps Jaremčuks says:

Hi. Do you know where can I find those tall bulbs for HVAC you mentioned? Mine all have burned, except one. Can't find them anywhere.

David Sullivan says:

The Dealer wanted $200 to change four #74 bulbs!! After watching your video it only took me 30 minutes to do. Can't thank you enough for taking the time to demonstrate this procedure.

Jed Sanford says:

Hey, so I am hoping you can help me out. i love your vids btw, your really thorough and have a lot of tricks to save a little time and money. I have a 99 legacy outback. So my dash lights were really dim like yours, I pulled the panel and replaced the 4 big lights. Then i went to Napa and had them match the small light and replaced it. It seemed pretty bright when I replaced the 4 big ones, but as soon as I did the smaller one, it was back to being dim. I did leave it connected when I did the second bulb, could that have done it? Or could it be a fuse?

Nathaniel Palmieri says:

Thank you. Made job very easy.

jlc7300 says:

Hi Good Video!  did you happen to notice if the warning lights also come out with just a turn or are they attached differently?  I have some that are out on my Subaru.  Thanks.

Cat G says:

Just love all your videos of the Subaru's Thanks Brian ! With all of your help it allows me to keep my 96 Legacy outback motoring. 🙂

Bobby W says:

This is an awesome video and saved me a lot of money! The dealer wanted $200 to fix some dash lights on my 2006 Impreza 2.5i. For about 8 dollars, I replaced all the bulbs myself and it took about 20 minutes. The dash on my car is exactly the same as the one in this video. I'm not very good with fixing cars but this was VERY simple, thanks to Brian's video. I bought the E74 bulbs online after reading that they fit into the sockets slightly easier than the stock 74 bulbs. Also, I read that the dashboard gauges have their own colored tint on them so it's best to stick with the white bulbs, rather than some other color. But the bulbs are super cheap so you could get creative. Thanks Brian. Look for a shiny new STi in your driveway (as soon as I win the lottery)!

PHGamer says:

lol. a little 5th element there.

keith solomon says:

Your fuel gauge has no light now!

D Hyde says:

Why would the dealer want to charge nearly $200 to change the lightbulb on the clock on my 2003 Acura 3.2TL/S?

Samniss Arandeen says:

The picture at the end of the video shows your car has a manual transmission, but the instrument cluster has P R N D so on and so on…I'm confusied.
