Subaru Fuel Filter Replacement DIY

You should replace the fuel filter on your car every 20,000 to 40,000 miles. Here I am replacing one on a 2001 Subaru Forester. Most Subarus will look similar. Other brand cars will have the filter in other locations – like in the gas tank! Subaru makes it easy.

Actually most Subaru newer than 2001 don't even have a fuel filter in the engine bay, but integrated in the fuel pump, anyway in the fuel tank
