Replace a Subaru Car Battery – Forester & Others

How to replace a car battery on a Subaru Forester or principles for changing a battery on any car, Toyota and others

I show you how I do this job start to finish but like all mechanical work this may not be something you can safely do and this video is not a replacement for your owner’s manual. Contact your dealer for an exact replacement battery.

I dead battery and discovered I could buy a factory battery cheaper than an aftermarket so it pays to check prices, including your dealer.

This job will take an average of 15 minutes ad is something you need to decide if you are capable of doing.

I hope this video is helpful. I would appreciate the thumbs up if you like it and Subscribe for more videos.

I just changed mine on my 08 Impreza WRX. I was worried if I needed to keep a small amount of power for the ecu, like some newer cars where they recommend you connect an small power source to keep your ecu or other electronic parts that need constant power from either reseting or shutting off completely.
