What is the link to purchase the backup camera kit? Also, do you know if this kit will work with an aftermarket panasonic headunit?

John Taylor says:

What's the verdict from you and others on a 2008 Tribeca with 230,000 klm's on the clock. I bought my first Subaru in 1980 and had 1.5 million k's of trouble free motoring. After running diesels for 15 years I got a cheap Volvo xc90 [ check engine light, easy fix] my wife claimed it, now I want to give the diesel the flick and buy an xc90 for myself { the 3.2 ltr petrol } I can't find one in my price bracket. Would the Tribeca be a good alternative, if so what do I need to look for in a vehicle that's done 230,000 k's. Your comments and others who have run the 3.6ltr. Tribeca would be appreciated.

Alright! Those BRZ can pull some turns. Two thumbs up. Anyone who doesn't know, never part with your Subaru axles. Both joints have a rebuild kit. Aftermarket are junk for many reasons, but if you run on custom suspension… you now own a wagon.

you can never go overboard…..it just means done right! great video.

Quick question:
Does Subaru have a means of monitoring engine hours in their ECUs? If so, when did they implement it and what is needed to access it?

Patrick Mercado says:

Scored me a BRZ head unit to upgrade my 07 Forester and add BU camera. FAIL. Plugs are not the same. Anyone want to buy a known working BRZ head unit ?

Ricky Benson says:

This was the first mod I did to mine, too! Hopefully you don't find continued electrical issues with the immobilizer having been on there prior.

Mark Bielawski says:

Very neat! I've been wondering if something similar can be done for a forward facing camera on the newer Foresters. The Forester Wilderness has a forward camera, and my 2020 Touring has a knock out on the grill in the same place for a camera. Any way to get one installed and utilize the factory [upper dash] screen?

P.H. Magee says:

I'm glad that you figured out the rain leak, too. Those can be especially frustrating.
