Just did it, took me 2 hrs I am by no means even an amateur mechanic. Definitely easier to take a wheel of. Also I used channel locks instead of a 14mm wrench inside the link, frickin dumb definitely use a wrench

Be careful when hammering the new link into the nuckle. I have seen the threads get severely damaged. Move it by hand to better align it up with the hole and you can push it in or it will just take a few light taps with the palm of your hand.
