Thx dude just had the same problem with my 2011 STI. I was pissed but now I'm motivated.
Subaru dealer litterly just did this to my car not one but two -_-
I have tge same problem with my 2012 STI. Wasn't my fault though. The dealership I bought the car from cross threaded that one bolt.
Great video mate. The only negative thing I have to say is, SAFETY comes first, you should have worn SHOES.
Lachie thanks for the video Bro it saved me money and I can at least pass rego now
They stuffed up our stud to for the same type car it was Bob Jane in Southport Gold coast, fukn pack of monkeys even denied responibility blaming every one but them selves
NEVER take your car to anything but a dealer when under warranty. I rotate all my tires and wash, scrubb the inside of the wheels and tires when I do. The garages use those torque sticks and they suck. I do mine all BY hand rotating the tire while hand tightening to nuts. Then torque them using a torque wrench alone. Much better to do it right yourself. If the dealer does it and breaks it they MUST fix it.
7:12 I lol'd … Nice video, will be doing this tomorrow -_-
nice helpful video. I just want to mention that I saw no jack stand or tire lying under the axle. also never sit with your legs under car while you work on it. keep those bare feet (or even ones in boot) clear of where the rotor will hit the ground if it happens to fall off of the jack.
I have the same problem too!!! I don't know where to get that one exact lug
What lugs are those ? They look awesome
"my nut"
Awesome video! I like it
