i’ve never heard of subaru ball joints being worse than any other cars to
be honest. it depends on a lot of factors. ball joints typically last
35k-100k. ball joint failures can be from driving on poorly maintained
roads, bad alignment, or even lowering your car can do it due to the change
in suspension geometry. i took my stock ones off around 70k and they looked
pretty good but that was mostly highway driving.

is it normal for all these bushing to crap out after a few years on a
subaru? i was installing some brake pads the other day and noticed all
these bushing pretty much looked like they were about to fall apart. 09

Questions for you?

frankzotynia10 says:

i still have the car. I have RaceComp Tarmac II coilovers, all TIC
available poly bushings and whiteline roll center kit. I think i have more
stuff done it but i don’t remember. I would love to daily drive it but I
work in a really run down city with horrible roads and i bottom out a lot.
I mostly drive it on the weekends. I had a 95 Miata as my daily but now i
use a 95 VW golf.

I was wondering do you still have this car, and if you do have installed
any other suspension parts on it. What do u use it for daily driver,
weekend warrior car,track car?
