What happens to the original sensor harness? Does this throw a oil light on?
Or you could just run a oil relocation line from any hotrod speed shop, I ran into a issue with the space left over installing a mechanical oil pressure sensor on my forester, Caution when installing any bungs into the aluminum subaru blocks
how do you see your other more important gauges?
How/where did you route the wire harness through the firewall??
Why did you have to use a aftermarket galley plug? Did it not fit on the factory one?
Theres also a spot on the back of the block…
Where you wont have to remove the dummy light sensor
Great video.
Is this the same on all EJs even the VA chassis?
Don’t rev a cold engine u idiot
Would anyone know how to add an oil pressure gauge to an Toyota Camry 2002
Thanks for the awesome video. I am going to install an oil pressure gauge and am wondering if you need to buy an alternator galley plug?
FYI buy a Metric adapter plug before you start anything dealing with the oil pressure if you plan on using the top access plugs almost every gauge or fitting is NPT and Subaru's use BSPT wasted 2 days build time looking for the right adapter
what do you do with the old wiring the old plug just leave un plugged?
I'm installing one of your quad gauges and would like to use my pre-existing pressure sensor.
Id just like to know which wire is for the sensor signal wire and which is the pressure warning light?
Black is obviously ground, the two remaining wires are red and white.
Thank you.
Sensor and gauge are more expensive than the base EJ engines.
