Too bad you have to have that UGLY front plate ruining the look of that Beautiful front end!
I think I'd take my chances of being pulled over and run without it.
I'm glad I live in South Carolina where no front plate is required.
I have a 2007 Red Solstice 2.4 5 Speed with 51,000 miles….just bought from the original owner for $6,800
BTW…….Just take off the front wheel and plastic fender well and the black support bar to get to the battery. That way you don't have to worry about aligning the fender which can be VERY tricky!

Unless the '07 is different from the'10, you just remove the frame bolts and leave the panel attached. It all swings out like a door on the front bold (which you don't remove).

Come on guys…That is absurd.. take the tire off then the wheel well, then reach back to get the battery.. unhook it and pull it right out. The hardest part is the tire..

Tuscancmh, removing that bolt that is in between the door is easier to do with a long extension while you are inside the passenger seat. Well, more like the floor of the passenger side. You will be able to see it between the dashboard and the crack/hinge of the door.
