my car keeps shutting offim for sure it's my gas filter needs replace, I did run the car very low on gas while gas light was on , about 30-50 kms, anyway made it to gas station, but once gas was put in I try start car and it would not start up easy like any other time before, kept trying to start car did this about 5 to 6 times then I let it sit for couple minutes, so try again after couple minutes and car started up had to give it little pump on gas, it wanted to shut off, this been over month ago and ever since this happen once gas tank gets below half tank car starts acting up shut down alot very, but if I let it sit for good few hours once I try again start it , it works starts up, I can drive for abit before again it acts up and shuts down. I just want to know where is gas filter on my 2004 saturn L 300

Trying to do a fuel pump on a 2002 Saturn L200. I'm cutting a door way to the pump. Where should I start cutting? Where do I measure from. I've cut once, it was not there. I cut 2/3rds over on the metal. I think I'm too far. Help please. I can't get this car high enough in the air to drop the tank!

Micheal Davis says:

Just did a 07saturn,you don't have to remove the exhaust pipe. First try not to have any in the tank ,go on anUndo the 2 connecters on top, a vent tube with a quick connect, 2worm type clamps on fill tube, loosen both and twist the rubber connector back ,hint just loosen the torx screw located under the rubber pad that fits around the fill opening the screw is located between the 12and 1:00 position, this will save you some fuss trying to get that pesky screw started and buggering the rubber back pad undo two bolts one the straps holding up the tank ,undo lines take some players and straighten little tabs holding plate on straps remove it pull straps out of way, drop tank your on ,remove pump ,then reverse steps

Awesome work gents. I'm getting ready to drop the tank on the old lady's car because the supply line is leaking at the tank. Thanks again for providing these informative videos.

Taiese Pilato says:

My pump cant come out, only the top of it but the bottom got stuck in the tank. it doesn't fit the hole it's a little too big. Does everything must come out off the tank?

Live & Love says:

Fuck all that. I'm selling this piece if shit

Thanks for this video. Since my 2005 L300 has lived with winter weather and road salt, I'm thinking making an access will be easier than trying to lower the exhaust and fuel tank. Did you notice if there are any obstructions between the fuel pump placement and directly above it, where the access will be made?

Mike Deez says:

Thanks guys I'm about to do one myself

Shane Hanson says:

If you pull out the back seat theres a hump in the middle which would be a cavity from under the car. Im thinking of making my own access hole. Just trying to get a lay of the land underneath.

Shane Hanson says:

Is this tank right under the back seat? Did the pump slid up into that hump
