Would you think a switch board/push button would work fine in these cars? I picked one up that's got 4 switches and a button start was wondering about taking the key entirely out of the picture.

i had similar start issues . look at your fuel module by the passengers right ankle . its a wet zone.remove cover,spray contact cleaner where the board plugs into black plastic. 1987
You're building a track car; who cares if it's pretty. My hood is missing most of her clear coat. I upgraded to a bigger turbo and didn't buy a thermal insulator for it. First track day it got red hot and tried to melt the hood. lol

Those quick connects are garbage. I recommend not using them
