Watch as I find an easy way to add camber adjustment capability to the rear of the Saab 9-5 but totally fail trying to plasma cut the front lift spacers.

Not too many mechanics likes Saab cars you're a different kind of guy just like Saab
Awsome videos by you 🙂 I am about to change my front fame bushings. Maybe you have some video about how to change them – and maybe on the car? 🙂 Wish you a great day.
where can i buy one
After getting a big "NO" from the finance dept. I've decided to put shims in for camber adjust at $6 a piece. It's work but so are the adjustable rods. I would get a new bolt and cut the old bolt to avoid fighting the sub frame to get clearance to pull the bolt. Thanks.
I thought this veh. offered adjustable shims or cams to adjust Camber in the rear. When the tires tilt in at the top it's negative Camber. I'm getting ready to take this veh.(one like it) for a 4 wheel alignment. We'll see how it goes. I have extreme negative Camber right now. It chopped one tire. I just bought this "Gem" so wish me luck. I do like the adjust rods though. How much are they?
Every one around here(sweden) slams their saabs to the floor… I think I'll do someting like this instead. It will piss eveyone off! 😀 And it's a sedan….
my 07 9-5 has also negative camber at the rear, it has 1.50 and 2.10 degrees where they should be 0.48. would you suggest saab oem camber shims(0.3mm's) or should i go with this adjustable control arm? can i also mount the headlight level sensor to this control arm?
Your wife is a beaut… glad to see an awesome couple like you guys. And hey we are all gonna die of something let her enjoy eating cookies lol.
I'm cheap. I go to the local metal recycling yard to get my Steel and other metals. Pennies a pound. I enjoy the Sonnet episodes.
Just amazing to watch an expert. More videos on installations. Thanks…..Mike
why don't you just drop the subframe with a Spacer
Is that a new box?
you got a nice shop there
whats he mean keep it out of the cabbage
does he have deer he has to keep out of the garden
The front end… lifting the body will lift the engine mounts, no? Thinking about axle length. I admit total ignorance regarding SAAB construction. Don't want to see you have problems with CV joints. Need to get some NHOU on there, looking dry 😉
you got to have a settling torch around the shop somewhere and then just clean them up on the bench grinder and the inside radius and clean up with a handheld grinder
your wife is a blessing to you amessie
Very good video as always!
Hey, cool project, but first… Merry Christmas to you and yours.
The spacer(s) seeing as it is really just a lift point, couldn't the material be of wood (oak or maple) or some plastic? Could just some long bolts with jam nuts and washers be strong enough? Nothing wrong with fabricating them with steel, but what a PITA & time consuming
check the tip on that plasma may need replacing on get a hyper therm
