Only just got round to doing this
But oh boy, what a difference.
Car is absolutely flying now,
Before it seemed sluggish , tired
And with a slight hunt on idle.
Thanks cyd , it's really made a difference

ian robertson says:

just recently got the p1312 code and going to try this. I took the connector out and cleaned the pins as well as cleared the code and it didn't come back instantly like normal. I will update after i drive it home.

George Waller says:

Hi. Firstly. Love your vids. Gonna be using your oil change video this weekend.
I have a slight problem with my Saab. It’s getting an engine juddering when accelerating. (Auto gearbox) 2005 2L T.
I’ve replaced spark plugs. Worked a bit better. Coil packs all seem fine. MAF is fine. MAP is fine. Only thing I couldn’t check was the O2 sensor on the turbo as I don’t have the right socket. Any ideas? :/

Precision Auto Diagnostics&Repair says:

My gosh that is way way to much dielectric grease. Never ever RTV unless you never want to get the connector of again lmfao.

Hello! I have a problem with my saab 93 2003 Aero. Its power is less than normal. The throttle is a lot weaker. But i have noticed that while i am on trip and have steady speed, with or withour cruise control i am getting a little blank brake and then the throttle is weaker than before. It is already weaker but it becomes weaker and its like i have 50hp. I have changed ECU, throttle body and gas pedal. My mechanic cant find the problem. It seems that has something to do with its electrical components. Turbo is working 100% correctly and the meter goes to full when i am on full throttle but the car doesn't give speed. Any idea in order to guide him?

caractacus brittania says:

Another great find,
Thankyou,
When it stops raining I'll be doing this.

Mark Caldeira says:

Don't have any codes or problems as yet so ordered some grease as a preemptive measure, it came today absolutely no corrosion on connector but blathered it and plugged it back in. I also did ecu connectors and abs module before I forget where I put the tube. Great tip to keep problems from turning up me thinks

chrisgunnphotography says:

Thanks, noticed I had corroded pin the other day cleaning solved my issue!

G Man says:

I currently have this code. I was going too change the spark plugs.I would like too perform this procedure also. I hope everything goes well.

Alexandre Dionisio says:

Does it need to throw an error code?

Markus Ström says:

Hi Cyclone, love your videos, they've helped me so much wifh my 2004 9-3 vector! Recently had the water pump replaced due to leakage and I got the car back last week. A couple of days ago it started to get occasional misfires when accelerating, and at the same time I got the p0101 code – MAF sensor getting odd values. Should I look for vacuum leakage or replace the MAF?

Bpban Petkovic says:

Hi dear,
I have Saab 93 1.9 tid from 2005 ,110kw
I have some problems with automatic gearbox, when it comes to four gear it comes some time like it's in neutral. What it can be? Regards

LSPD says:

Great video! Quick question, my 9-3 B207, jerks a bit when I idle. Often when the car is warm. When it jerks, the RPM also drop a bit for a second. This dosnt happen when i drive the car. Thoughts?
