i'm having issues removing the transmission from the clutch any tips?
Hey so yesterday my 04 Saab 9-3 grinded out on 2nd gear and all it sounds like is like something spinning grinding? Can it be the clutch plate?
Hi–How did you know you needed to replace the clutch? What were the symptoms? transmission fluid levels–were normal? burning smell? slipping out of gear? Thanks, BTM
maybe you have the 3.0 v6 engine i have never worked on that one ,but its basically same process , to make it easier i removed the bottom bracket from the car , i needed to take both cv axles off , and unbolt the rack and pinion , just to start with.
Hello 🙂 Im starting with my saab 9-3 2005model tomorrow, could you tell me what i need to remove to get the gearbox out, and what i need to watch out for ? Maybe your experience will save me a lot of time 😀 I can see that i dont have the same engine as you, i have the Z19DT 120hp 1.9TID, but im pretty sure its the same procedure.
I have changed my gearbox, clutch and fly wheel, with also the thrust bearing. Now my clutch slowly slides back to its original point once depressed. Any ideas why
