Replacing the battery on my 2006 Saab 9-3 2.0T.
This vehicles requires a group size 48 battery. My preference is for an absorbent glass mat (AGM) battery, purchased from a national chain that has stores in all of the places I’m apt to find myself.
I recommend against buying a car battery from regional chains or online. For most people, having to ship back a bad battery to get warranty coverage is not worth it, and I had a really bad out-of-market warranty experience with a battery bought from regional retailer (Pep Boys) a few years ago.

You’re obviously not a trained mechanic as you should always remove negative terminal first to avoid short circuiting via spanner etc and reconnect it last !!
