Quick video on how to remove the turbo on a Saab 9-3 with the 2.0 4 cylinder turbo. This is applicable for the model years of 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 (03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12)
Use common sense. I am not responsible for anything you do to your vehicle.
Why do you skip the actual wrenching? That is what you need to understand how to do the work…
THANK YOU for this VIDEO!! My Saab 9-3 2005, is now up and running better then before!
Hello
Is there any gasket on the 3 exoust bolts?
I put new turbo at My saab 9'3 4 cil ,but still no got Boost ,I change because got oil on the intercooler,so ,now the car no power , turbo no work like before..if someone know how to fixe thanks
Is this for the arc or the linear?
How do you know if your turbo has went out car smoking a whole lot and doesn't quit was stopped smoking after running a little while now we're not stop smoking at all very thick white smoke what could be the problem
On the 1st set of 3 studs, 2 are easy but the 3rd one? did you remove that line in-front of it?
How long did it actually take you to get the turbo out
Great video but where is all the nice work
How did u manage to take out the exhaust studs?
nice one dude, i owe you a beer
Thanks for video, very helpful. When you removed the 3 exhaust bolts did the studs come right out?? Mine are definitely stuck in there and I'm guessing 15 years of extreme heat isn't going to make that job easy. The problem I've run into is I have those 3 studs still in there and then the 2 studs in from the bracket on the bottom you can't see. Because they are positioned in the opposite direction I can't pull out the turbo. The exhaust studs are much easier access but can't get them out, I'm going to try to double nut the studs down below but going to be a pain in the ass with out being to see them or really tighten nuts well.
