I just completed this drop and rebuild on my Saab 9-3 2.8 Nordic convertible. With the Vermont Tune I am averaging 9 Miles Per Gallon. Did anyone else have a drop in mileage with the pump change?

Is the same way for a Saab 9-3 2006 2.0T

"remove before flight" A&P??

Geico Kaveman says:

Relatively sure you can just depress all of those lines retaining clips, without prying them out. Should be avoidable replacing all of them. Obviously brittle and might break anyway. Thanks for the video

Gary,

I commented and asked you a question about impact wrenches and Saabs last week. I have a fuel leak on the top of the tank on my '06 9-3 2.0 Cabrio with 97k miles. The car is not throwing any codes and is still running ok. I'm going to have to drop the tank obviously. I used an inspection scope and I'm sure the leak is in the fuel pump area. My car's tank has similar stains at the same locations as your car did. I have one day to get the tank down, finish the work and get it back on the road. I'm buying a new tank ring, vapor canister, fuel pump and fuel line clips. Is there anything else I should have on hand just in case?

Thx

Can't you just cut a hole in the car to access the fuel pump directly?

Why my Saab 9-3 2.0 aero it needs more time than usual to start when its cold and even when it is hot and stay off for about 30 minutes. And it have fault in right turn indicator but it work, it is some fault code for fuel pump or pressure regulator?

Shawn Huetter says:

Not sure if you found this out by now, but those clips can be easily removed by pressing them in while pulling back on the line. Just an FYI a minute too late.
