In this video I replace the emergency brake cable on my 2008 Saab 9-3 Aero. This same process works for both sides on 2003-2012 Saab 9-3’s (sportcombi and convertibles will be slightly different). Be sure to like, share and subscribe!

Great explanation. Nice video. Thank you!
I did this, but my new cable was really thight. I have tried adjusting it but only got it to the point where the pads are barely gripping the disc when handbrake is down. Not a huge issue, but heat builds up on longer trips. Got any tips?
Thanks for a Great video
Great explanation and details! Shouldn’t you have tried to turn the wheel in the same direction forward when checking the E-Brake was engaged or does it matter? Thanks
Awesome job, one less thing to figure out!
Nice video . Thanks a lot !
