I recently had a problem with my Porsche Boxster S 986 with the dashboard lights not going off plus other electrical problems like the rear spoiler going up and down for no reason and the alarm going off.
After some investigating I deduced that it was a faulty ignition switch that was causing the dash lights staying on and so went about replacing it.Actually replacing the switch is not difficult but the fact you have to climb under the dashboard to do it makes the job a little tricky. Especially when you only have enough room to do the job with one hand and little light. But if I can do it, anybody can do it.
