This works! This is better than replacing it, because the Boxster Interior Door Handle Spring stretches over time and I’d prefer to have more tension on the handle of the drivers side. This is extremely important because on my Boxster the loose handle caused the interior lights to stay on, draining the battery.

If you have the other problem of the door handle being floppy on the outside, the best option is to replace the door latch cable which is a little bit more difficult.
