Replacement of a Porsche 996 Original ignition switch. Part Number 4A0-905-849-B-M56 Be aware that at some point Porsche changed out the ignition unit for a new one with a different part number.

I may have to do mine . Its firm while I am turning it . Thinking removing the driver seat may give me more room and be easier on my back . I would try and leave corner air duct in place. We'll see
