Porsche 911 997 Front Brake Pad & Rotor Replacement DIY (2009-2012 Porsche Carrera, S, 4S, GTS)

Porsche 911 997 Front Brake Pad & Rotor Replacement DIY (2009-2012 Porsche Carrera, S, 4S, GTS)

►Replacing your Porsche 911 997 front brake pads and rotors is one of the most important safety jobs you can complete on your car and something you can tackle yourself rather than going to a shop or dealership.

The condition of the brake pads and rotors is a critical component of any vehicle. On a sports car like the Porsche 911 997, brake parts are geared towards performance over longevity, causing them to wear quicker than a family sedan. Considering the 997 is meant to be driven spiritedly, the condition of its pads and rotors is paramount.

The Porsche 997 front brake kit featured in this video comes with everything you need to complete a brake job at home. The brake pads, rotors, hardware, shims, and sensors are all supplied, taking any of the guesswork out of purchasing brakes for your 997.
