Porsche 911 912 Front Strut Replacement DIY Project | Classic Porsche 911 912 Boge Longhood

Porsche 911 912 Front Strut Replacement DIY Project | Classic Porsche 911 912 Boge Longhood

In this video I replace Porsche 911 912 front sturts with new replacement KONI inserts in my 1967 Porsche 912 Project Car. This is a classic Porsche DIY Project. This video covers Porsche 911 912 from 1964 1965 1966 1967 1968 Long hood short wheelbase cars. I go through the steps to remove your old original Boge sturts and replace them with new KONI strut inserts. You’ll even learn what to do if you have to use the more affordable KYB struts for your Porsche 911 or 912 car.

My 1967 Porsche 912 coupe is unique, instead of the original Porsche 616 motor (the same motor found in the Porsche 356 model), I put in a 1976 Porsche 912E VW Type 4 motor. The VW Type 4 motor will mount to the stock Porsche 901 transmission, the only issues I had was the engine tin and motor mount.
