Hi! What year model its your Porsche? Mine its a 2004 and doesn't have a filter, Don't know if some models came without it, or maybe Its located somewhere else. There's four black fuel lines that are together and one of them goes to the filter (on your video), my car only has three lines together. Any suggestions? please let me know. Thanks

Hi Brian. Just working my way through your back catalogue. Haven’t seen anyone mention the fuel filter before, so I am curious to know how often it needs to be changed. I am just about to change the coolant so am wondering if mine is in the fuel tank, as you mentioned that some are. I have a 2003 3.2S model.

Andy Muller says:

Impressive mileage, i followed your instructions and I replaced the fuel filter. I didn’t struggle to take the filter out but damn i struggled to find the grey clip to remove it. A bright brain put the clip facing right up and me underneath couldn’t see it. Took me an hour to see it. The rest was a 20 min job. At that mileage did you have any problems with the IMS? Thanks for the video!

Vladimir Alvarez says:

Wow ! That’s a lot of miles ..original engine ? I own a 2001 986 S and has 97,000 miles and she runs sweet ,granted I’ve done clutch ,ims, rms, aos, new top ,some under carriage plastic change ,gas filter ,gas pump …lil by lil I’m changing those things that wear out with age

Statix LSUK says:

I take it you've upgraded the ims bearing with that sort of mileage?? I want to do mine but I can't justify the extortionate price

Sean Denny says:

Dam that some miles, Porsche just keeps impressing me on their toughness!

Sean Denny says:
