You didn't mention what the torque spec is when you tightened the steering wheel nut.

Whats the diffrence between the 997 splines and the boxster splines? Is it only the splines that prevents you from fitting a newer 997 wheel?

there are rubber O rings in the 4 corners that only has to be replaced to fix the horn issue.
