Does the dongle have to be plugged in all the time? How do you scan; I assume that when you remove the battery dongle and insert the scan dongle, there would be fault codes?

Thank you so much for the great video, I have the same issue with my Porsche Cayenne 2018 and I am afraid of swapping to AGM, But after your experience I was convinced to do it.
I have a question needed for your help:
* In the future when the battery needs to be replaced again. Do I need to register the battery using the OBD diagnostic only? or I have to use the programing dongle again?
