Today we fix our was broken 1999 Porsche Boxster that we got dirt cheap at the salvage auction! Everything we did this video to sort it out DIY style was less than $100 in total. We also take it on the first test drive where we run into some more issues. We clean the filthy moldy mess and get this car looking like new (at least the interior)! This was our cheapest Porsche Boxster yet, should we invest in wheels, paint, and exhaust?

Junk the wheels, keep the hardtop, go with Atlas Gray. It's a 911 color.
respray silver. OEM rims. Keep harp top. new exhaust. Nice Boxster! love these vids
Yellow and stock rims. Small exhaust upgrade
Paint it dark blue. And yes on the OEM wheels. Outstanding pickup.
Paint and definitely do the exhaust
Definitely keep the wheels and detail or paint it.
If you’re gonna end up giving it away – give the winner the choice on paint color, or choice on wrap color
what cleaners did you put into the engine as I have a similar sound on mine
Go for Pearl White. Goes great with the red. No aftermarket crap on such a nice car. Paint the wheels red as well.
ugh what a good find. Beautiful car. I love these cars 🙂
Keep, paint and exhaust
Go back to the soft top, and let's see you guys struggle though doing DIY a vinyl wrap on the car. Also maybe do a better sounding aftermarket exhaust system. That would be fun.
She's coming up nicely boys, I say ditch those ugly black rims for some nice OEM wheels and a quick fresh paint job back to original and a killer exhaust….
If there are any genuine car lovers stop supporting these channels they are driving up the prices of these cars to the rooft making it impossible for us to even dream of getting one.
I keep the original gray with the black wheels
White or Black with a red pearl
Come on, you guys know how big your oil receptacle pan is and how much oil is in the car. It looked like you used one at least 2 quarts smaller. Nice content but save the drama for your mama, this (thank goodness), isn't A&E! Please don't take that wrong, I love your ambition and content.
Honestly I agree with everyone, keep the factory color, but I say get a cheap set of factory period correct wheels, and have them powder coated in a copper/ bronze similar to the boxster concept car, or the 25th anniversary edition car. That would seriously highlight that interior in my opinion.
Paint it. It’ll match the interior being clean.
I would wrap it. Gulf livery. Go back to original wheels. Of coarse change the exhaust (Borla). Good job saving this car.
Yes definitely paint it….. black
Silver if painted, hardtop unless your looking to make more money out of the car and option on wheels for whomever buts it. Great work dudes
Previous owner just needed some real kind, Porsche Boxster owners to advice how to easily repair these unreliable issues that plague Boxsters even at low mileage 40, 50k miles
Sell the top, repaint car same color and re paint wheels and make big profit
Please repaint the same color! Amazing car. Hug from Azores, Portugal!
Factory wheels
Sell hard top
Paint it the green from a 2000 honda civic
Cool exhaust
