My Cheap Auction Porsche 911 S came with an Engine Failure that dealers and independent shops want over $20,000 to fix. Instead I bought the cheapest can of Head Gasket Fix, called Block Seal, to see if it can actually work and save thousands of dollars while extending the life of my Porsche Carrera!

Johnny Chimpo says:

It’s a great temporary fix. It probably says on the bottle that it’s not designed for long-term use

Fred Mercury says:

Imagine spending $100k on a car, only to later find that the manufacturer knowingly sold you a car that's not fit for purpose because the engine's lifespan is a fraction of that, of the cars lifespan. And you can't make them fix it for you.

Mac D says:

good way to gum up the passages in your radiator with a cheap fix like this

Fred Mercury says:

Will it fix the engine? Yes.

But only long enough for you to sell the car to someone else.

Colin Selfridge says:

Congrats Sam, you were due a break after some of the setbacks on the other projects recently. I must say when I saw can I fix this for $9, I was like typical Sam, everyone says use the $50 stuff, so he spends 20%. But when you went through all the research you’d done, I was onboard and keeping my fingers crossed for you.

nonya buisness says:

I had a head gasket blow on a cellica GT I put some liquid steel in the radiator and smoked out my neighborhood for like 2 hours. I bought a new car… months later I stared the cellica it smoked for like 30 seconds and stopped. I gave it to a friend and he drove it for 2 years before he totalled it.

leedstown says:

25 years a go I ran over something in the road in a ford 1,6 diesel it put a crack in the radiator, I put 2 eggs into the header tank and it sealed the radiator. I kept the car another 6 months it was still fine

YjLime says:

Can’t these be swapped with a subie engine? And I mean obviously you can swap anything in there with tlc but I mean more of a direct replacement

yong hwang says:

Now people will do this before selling their car lol

erik k says:

Trade that POS it ASAP you just destroyed the entire cooling system. I can't believe you put liquid glass in a Porsche. It works in $500 NA cars with low compression for a short amount of time. Not only do you have to replace the headgasket all the cooling passages are smaller now and the radiators are less efficient.

Good guys with guns says:

Please don't try that thing highway background again or city driving background again you know I'm talking about

Jess H says:

quick! trade it in!
