$45 DIY – Spark Plug Replacement Porsche 987 Boxster/Cayman (987.2)

$45 DIY/How to – Spark Plug Replacement Porsche 987 Boxster/Cayman (987.2)

Since I wasn’t sure when the spark plugs were last changed, and knowing I’d had it for a year already, made it worthwhile to spend the $50 to replace them.

Since I had not found a pure 987.2 video on the subject I took some extra time to detail this more thoroughly than perhaps you may need.

Hopefully the visuals, tips and tricks make this project go smoothly for you. I was definitely overly apprehensive about this job and, more than anything, it comes down to the right tools.

Be memorable, be well. D Wray

Love watching your vids.. I’ve got a similar setup, a ‘16 Macan S and an ‘03 986 S (not quite the 987 but fun enough for me). I just picked up a Quickjack and look forward to setting it up and turning some wrenches in the pursuit of maintenance and modifications. Thanks for unraveling some of the mysteries I would’ve encountered had I gone in blind :).
