Awesome vid. What is the epoxy you spray on in the final painting steps?
So if the rot was localized to just under the rear door would you have cut the new rocker in half and welded it to the factory front half?
Where did you buy the rocker panel metal piece?
Question: I bought a rust-free Grand Prix from outside of the rust belt that has plastic side skirts & of course the skirts are famous for trapping salt, dirt, & moisture behind them & rotting out the rockers. If I were to use spray expanding foam to fill the void between the skirt & rocker do you think that could be effective in preventing the rust from forming? Or if you have any other suggestions please share them with me. Or what if I just removed the skirt completely? Is there any reason I couldn't do that?
