Pontiac G5 – RADIO REMOVAL / REPLACEMENT (2005-2010)

Step-by-step guide on how to remove / replace / upgrade factory radio unit on Pontiac G5 sedan ( 2005 | 2006 | 2007 | 2008 | 2009 | 2010 | SE | GT | BASE ). I am pretty sure this video applies to Chevrolet Cobalt radio removal and replacement as well.

Before you can access four 7mm screws which are holding the radio in place, you will have to remove couple of plastic trim pieces. Once you pull the old radio out, disconnect the radio antenna and 2 connectors and install your new radio. If you are replacing with another factory radio make sure to get the radio CODE. If replacing your Pontiac G5 radio with aftermarket than you will need the right wiring harness, adapter and the radio kit.
