After 45 years mine needs a freshen up. I have to pull the engine for new freeze plugs. It's a nice car and my daily! Got some headers for it, what exhaust did you use? Looks like a nice fit.

William Donovan says:

I love the car but the mods are especially tasteful and perfectly executed. How's the formula these days?

ph77 says:

SP Steve On my Le Mans the adapter for the oil filter appears to be in the way on the passenger side if I remove it slipped the header in my going to be able to get it back on did you run into this problem on your Pontiac

Todd says:

I put them on mine happy

Richard Walling says:

Did you ever consider using band clamps instead of the u clamps?

Pete Licourt says:

Awesome friggin video man

Jay Rowe says:

Nice clean car. I like the factory aluminum manifold with the crossover removed.

Wow I watched your video like 10 times to pump me up to install mine on a 69 Le Mans and it took me the whole day just to get both manifold off and get the passenger side in. I had to manipulate the first and second collector to slip in but I think I need to hit more on the second tube it’s very small what I hit in so won’t cause any restriction. I wasn’t so lucky with those trans lines mine go right up where you slip the headers in from the bottom so I had to play with those for a wile too which I was cringing every time they are pretty rusty. Thanks for your video very helpful.

Sooo helpful. Thank you keep it up

Those titanium coated headers look great, and the color should last. I have painted Hooker Super Comps on my GTO. 14 years and they still look ok.

Brian SD says:

Nice work on a tough job! On a side note…..how do you like your trans cooling pan? Do you feel it is effective?

Roy says:

Nice job. So how does it run with the new intake and headers? How is the noise level with headers? Did you consider the aftermarket factory-style cast headers? More than enough for your mildly cammed motor, reasonably priced, and quiet/maintenance free too. Actually they breath well enough even for more aggressive cams.

Fire bird says:

Did you get a chance to check the flanges for flatness at all ?
Just wondering.
Im considering those and dougs
