Very very good information appreciate it thank you very much

1A Auto Parts says:

It’s very important so that the wheel bearing doesn’t fail prematurely due
to an improper torque.

DEMONlCO says:

Great video as always from these guys. Always informative and they pay
close attention to the little details. Thanks

DsrtRatnSnow says:

@FatalCorleone07 You can replace them as they fail. You don’t have to
replace both at the same time.

FatalCorleone07 says:

Ok now I dnt kno much about cars but do you have to buy a hub bearing for
each wheel for your car? Cuz only one comes in a box right?..

remimark19 says:

i have an 01 impala and it was making noise only when i turn left and
sometimes the traction would kick in.my question is does the bearings have
to make noise or be completly bad or can the sensor itself just go bad?

1A Auto Parts says:

It should be a fairly reliable car as long as you do all of the
preventative maintenance on it, like change the oil and do tune-ups.

DsrtRatnSnow says:

Good video. Thanks.

korred3690 says:

is the system same like vauxhall vectra c?

United999State says:

I have the same car is there anything I should know about these or are they
basically plug and play?

1A Auto Parts says:

@comcastchinomike Have not experienced it first hand. With an ABS issue it
may be worthwhile to take it to a dealer and have them diagnose it. You’ll
pay a fee but at least you will not be replacing parts trying to chase a
gremlin.

1A Auto Parts says:

@LadyMorganLavon We currently do not have an auto repair video on this
particular vehicle of how to perform this repair. Most of them come out by
removing the nut and cotter pin from the center of the hub first, then you
can give the axle a slight tap with a hammer and that should break it free.
If there isn’t enough clearance to pull the axle out you may have to
disconnect a strut so that the A-Arm drops farther out of the way allowing
you to remove the axle.

great job this video i have a 04 grand prix i look at 1aauto all the time
great job can u make one on traction control

chriswheeler2 says:

Thank you A1 Auto this video was very educational now I am confident enough
to change my own Bearing in my 98 Grand Prix GTP insted of having someone
else do it for me. I will have the laptop handy so i can replay if i missed
anything ..lol

comcastchinomike says:

@chriswheeler2 hey, i have a 01 grand prix gt. dont know if you experienced
this ABS issue with this when stopping the car at low speed. But i checked
the internet, some people were saying its because the sensor built inside
the hub causing the problem. replace it would solve the problem. please let
me know with if any suggestion thx : )

Hrel says:

@1aauto I will testafy to this, I just bought a pair of hub assemblies from
the site for 122 total for my 03 impala. Autozone was 80 bucks for just
one, and that was a Duralast one. In other words, these seem to be higher
quality. SO glad I found this site. FYI, only reason I found it was these
youtube videos. Nice work!

RossInAction says:

How important is it to use a torque wrench? I usually just tighten it until
its tight. Will this process be the same for a 2005 grand prix?

1A Auto Parts says:

@FatalCorleone07 Yes generally you want to replace them in pairs. Each hub
we sell does one wheel. We do also sell the pairs at a discount.

lboogiejamz says:

i like the way u show that it so easy my side of story why my abs light and
trac senor stay on

1A Auto Parts says:

@korred3690 It should be different on that application.

kingbasturan says:

and yet the exact same model with a different trim is in this very video.
Only difference is the supercharger.

LadyMorganLavon says:

is there an easy way to replace the front passenger axle of a Pontiac Grand
Prix GT 3.8L?

1A Auto Parts says:

@DsrtRatnSnow Yes you can replace them one at a time we sell them on our
site as both singles and pairs.
